African Ancestry DNA Kit Giveaway 2024 – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction: The African Ancestry DNA Kit Giveaway 2024 (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Demand Africa (the “Organizer”). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Organizer.

2. Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Organizers, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Period: The Giveaway begins on May 20th, 2024, at 12:00 AM PST and ends on May 25th, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST (the “Entry Period”).

4. How to Enter: To enter, participants must complete the entry form on the giveaway landing page, providing their full name, email address, and participating city, and agreeing to the terms and conditions. Each participant is limited to one entry. Duplicate entries across multiple participating cities will disqualify the entrant.

5. Prizes: Six (6) winners will each receive one (1) African Ancestry DNA Kit and a 14-day free trial of Demand Africa’s streaming service. The approximate retail value of each DNA kit is $299.99.

6. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected through a random drawing conducted by the Organizers on May 27th, 2024. Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. General Conditions: The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Organizers’ reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by the Organizers in their sole discretion.

8. Privacy: Participants’ personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed by the Organizers in accordance with the privacy policy at https://demandafrica.com/privacy/.

9. Limitation of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize.

10. Free Trial Redemption: The 14-day free trial of Demand Africa must be redeemed by September 30th, 2024.

11. African Ancestry Privacy Assurance: African Ancestry does not sell or share its customers’ genetic, personal, or financial information. All DNA is destroyed after analysis and a result is determined.
