"Oyoko" by Zoro ft. Chidinma
Oya, sharperly bring out your handkerchief and let’s dance to this astounding hit from the one and only Oghene master, Zoro, featuring cute and hot-as-spice diva, Chidinma! This video was released less than two weeks after the audio dropped.
Directed by Unlimited L.A and produced by Kezyklef, Oyoko (translated to mean “beautiful homely girl”) showcases the essence and beauty of the African woman. The quality of the video was top notch and can be clearly seen seconds into the video, keeping you glued till the very end (after which you are forced to repeat it). This was an awesome track with a collaboration that blended perfectly.
As usual, the Igbo rap star did not disappoint with this song and released a beautiful visual that complemented it. “Mama, I think I’ve found a wife…” is Zoro’s declaration at the beginning of the song. It is a song that tells a love story and reflects the joy brides and grooms experience on their special day; starting the year on a good one.
Don’t we all just love love? (Hmmm, dreamy sigh!). Chidinma’s sonorous vocals shine bright like a diamond. This Zoro can sha make somebody’s head swell with his praises and native endearments. You will definitely replay this video as watching it once does not do it any justice.
The cultural display made it a perfect wedding igba-nku song. He depicted the traditional wedding ceremony of the Igbo tribe of Nigeria, which was just beautiful. Fans predict that this hit song from Zoro will take over Igbo weddings (redcap kings) for year 2018 and even beyond; becoming a wedding anthem.
There was a nice blend of English and the Igbo language with excess swag on display. Husbands-to-be, take note of this song for when you find the one (winks!).
