"Waka" by Diamond Platinumz ft. Rick Ross

Bongo Flava representative and Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platinumz released his latest record titled “Waka” late 2017, precisely in December, featuring American rapper Rick Ross. Its music video was directed by Nigerian, Moe Musa.

The music video depicts luxurious life; depicted by the lyrics of the song, a huge mansion, pool-side scenes with pretty ladies and bad bitches while promoting Belaire wine. It presently has over 5 million views on YouTube and will continue to draw attention to itself as it appeals to the eye and mind of many.

Before this track, he released “Sikomi” with over 10.2 million views on YouTube and “Marry Tou” where he featured Ne-Yo, and that has hit 20 million views. “Waka” can override them all as it appeals to a larger crowd.

Before now, he has worked internationally with Morgan Heritage, a New York-based band on a record titled “Hallelujah” and has collaborated with Nigerian artist, Patoranking.
