Expresso Covers the Black Panther Blue Carpet

Last weekend, Marvel’s Black Panther was released and garnered over $491,301,098 worldwide! Red carpet premieres had celebrities dressed up to the nines and displaying their heritage and culture through traditionally inspired clothing and hair.  One particular “Blue Carpet” event in South Africa showcased the film’s stars paying homage to the land of the Black Panther and his birth and influence.

The latest of films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther tells the story of T’challa and his super-heroic journey to becoming king of the fictional country of Wakanda in Africa. The film was directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman (King T’challa, The Black Panther), Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Basset, Forest Whitaker, and more. Not pumped about Black Panther? You will be!
