Joloff Restaurant Isn’t Just for Rice!
Joloff Restaurant is a West African restaurant specializing in Senegalese cuisine named after the old Joloff Empire. The favorite dish is a MUST HAVE: The Tiebou Jeun, a dish of baked fish, Joloff rice, and veggies, is also Senegal’s national dish. While Joloff Rice is a traditional west African staple, the Joloff Rice here (Joloff’s specialty) is uniquely rich and aromatic with a jasmine flavor.
Though there is some meat on the menu, Joloff sports an assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. This is a departure from many other West African dining spots that tend to be inundated with oxtail, chicken, and goat.
