A young girl sets out to introduce her well-to-do boyfriend to her family and the family, in turn, tries to impress the new beau.

Queen Latifah’s character learns that her death is imminent, so she decides to make the most of her time on earth by booking fantastic holidays, eating in the best restaurants and staying in the best hotels. Along the way, she becomes a mini-celebrity. LL Cool J is her love interest in the movie, which makes it even better to watch.

  • Christmas in the City:

Wendy is faced with the tough challenge of having to close her father’s candy store. She tries to keep the candy store open and through these attempts, travels to a bigger city to make more money. She lands a job in a toy store and her boss ends up ruining Christmas in a hilarious comedy that is sure to boost the Christmas cheer in your own household.

This movie is based on a true story and it follows the life of a young girl from Uganda whose life is completely overhauled when she learns how to play chess. The movie examines the impact of poverty and racism as she moves to become a successful chess player.
