Stylish restaurant Lenox Saphire hosts jazz and blues legends on Thursday nights.

A few blocks from the Apollo Theater, nestled in Harlem, is a celebrated African fusion restaurant.  Lenox Saphire offers a fusion of American soul food and Senegalese and French cuisines with dishes like Yassa Poisson, Maffe Lamb, and Pappardelle “Forestiere,” an amazingly tender braised short ribs plate stewed in red wine sauce.

If the food doesn’t bring you to here, then their Thursday Jazz event will.  This jazz and blues music experience is led by Harlem legend, Phil Young, who uses his influence to bring in legendary jazz and blues musicians like saxophonist Patience Higgins to play a few sets for the night.

If you can’t make it on a Thursday night, come on the weekend, you’ll still be met with music and live DJ sets Friday through Sunday.
