Knorr Chicken Stew

Knorr Chicken Stew

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 500g chicken pieces
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 stock cube dissolved in 1 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons KNORR Soup either Brown Onion or Minestrone or Rich Beef & Tomato
  1. Heat oil in a large pot and fry onion and green pepper until soft

  2. Add the chicken and fry until well browned

  3. Add potatoes, carrots, water and stock stir well then bring to the boil

  4. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 35 minutes with the lid on, stirring occasionally

  5. Mix the KNORR Soup with the 4 tablespoons of water to form a smooth paste and stir into the stew

  6. Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken

  7. Serve with rice
